Q: What can I expect in our first session?

A: Our first session is about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you in, explore your goals, and begin building a space that feels safe, supportive, and judgment-free.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

A: At this time, I offer telehealth sessions only. All therapy is provided virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform.

Teletherapy allows for greater flexibility and comfort, and you can attend sessions from anywhere in California. Many clients find virtual sessions just as effective as in-person work — and appreciate the convenience of meeting from home, work, or wherever feels right.

Q: How do I know if you’re the right therapist for me?

A: The best therapy happens when you feel safe and understood. I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation, allowing us to determine if we’re a good fit before proceeding.

Q: What ages do you work with?

A: I see teens (13+), adults, and families. For parenting support, I also work directly with caregivers of younger children.

Q: Do you take insurance?

A: I am an in-network provider through Alma for Optum/UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, and Cigna.

I am an in-network provider through Grow Therapy for Kaiser, Optum/UnitedHealthcare, and Aetna.

Q: What if you’re not in-network with my insurance?

A: I’m considered an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t bill insurance companies directly. However, I can provide a superbill — a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Many clients are able to get partial reimbursement depending on their specific plan.

Q: How much do you charge?

A: Individual Sessions are $140/per session

Q: Do you offer a sliding scale?

A: Yes. I offer a limited number of sliding scale slots based on financial need. If cost is a concern, let’s talk during the consultation to see if I have availability or can offer referrals.
